| Matthew has been employed at Bournemouth Gardens Tennis Centre since 1987, initially as an assistant coach and now as the centre manager. He is in charge of the day to day running of the Centre, Pro Shop/Restringing and Coaching Programme. He takes individual and centre group sessions and is head coach to the Bournemouth University Tennis Teams who use the centre for their training and home matches. |

| Matthew has been involved in tennis all of his life, winning numerous junior, senior and veterans titles. He is currently Captain of the Dorset Men's team, the Dorset Over 35 Men's team and the Great Britain Over 40 team. As a member of the Great Britain team he travels the world competing in the ITF World Team Championships. In 2010 he is the Indoor, Hard and Grass Court Over 40 Champion of Great Britain, his British Over 40 ranking is No 1 and he is in the top 10 in the world for that age group. |

| Karl has been an integral part of Bournemouth Gardens Tennis Centre’s coaching staff for many years, and has a BA (Hons) degree in sports science. He oversees and develops the Mini Tennis Programme, takes individual and centre group sessions and organises the club teams competing in local leagues. |

| In his junior days he won numerous tournaments, played to a national standard, represented the South West of England at junior level, and has represented Dorset at junior, senior and veteran level. |

| Chris Brown – Development Coach/Duty Manager |

| Chris has recently become a full time member of Bournemouth Gardens Tennis Centre’s coaching staff and his responsibilities include assisting Karl with the development of the Mini Tennis Programme, coordinating and undertaking the Schools Programme, providing more community links with schools and running the Mini Tennis and Junior Tournament Programme for the centre. He takes individual and centre group sessions and provides fun and social competition for our adult players. |

| His tennis background is that he started playing at the Tennis Centre when he was 11 years old and within a few years was competing in local county tournaments. He won a number of local singles and doubles titles and at the age of 17 took a keen interest in coaching. He is passionate about giving more juniors and adults the opportunity of playing tennis. |
